DAY 1
Cochabamba/Toro Toro/ Dinosaurs Footprints
Departing to Toro Toro at 7.30 am you will be on the road for a three-hour drive.
Upon your arrival, you’ll hike down to the Las Golondrinas Waterfall where dinosaur footprints are found in high and low relief.
You will also enjoy the stones and pools of water where it’s even possible to have a refreshing swim.
From here you will return to Toro Toro and visit the Pachamama Wasi lithic museum.
You will then be driven to Hotel Villa Etelvina where you are staying and having dinner.
DAY 2
Itas City & Umajalanta Cavern
Once breakfast has been had you will set off to Itas City.
Itas City is a series of rock formations observed going up at almost 4,000 meters height (13,123 ft.), with mazes and stony galleries in the form of a Gothic City. You will also experience caverns, narrow corridors, stone bridges and cave paintings all connected to each other.
You will then take a trip to the Umajalanta Cavern where it will be possible to see stalactites, stalagmites and blind fishes.
From here you will return to Toro Toro and Hotel Villa Etelvina.
DAY 3
Huayllas hill & El Vergel Waterfalls
Today you will visit Huayllas Hill. This is a famous spot as it contains hundreds of prints from various dinosaur’s species.
You have the time to walk round, up to three kms, enjoying Toro Toro Canyon.
You will also be reminded to stop at the viewpoint of Mirador Colgante from where you can see the red forehead macaws.
From here you will hike down to El Vergel waterfalls for a refreshing swim. Then hike back to Toro Toro.
You will then be driven back to Cochabamba.
